"My son first took lessons with Coach Joe over 5 years ago to learn pitching. Coach Joe broke the pitching process down into very simple steps and had my 8 year old pitching with excellent form, accuracy and confidence in no time. Since then, my son has matured into a seasoned travel player and Coach Joe has been an invaluable, trusted coach all along the way. He takes the time to understand where my son is at with his game, both struggles and successes. Then he tailors lessons to provide simple, concrete steps to get my son to the next level. I have been consistently impressed at how efficiently Joe diagnoses small glitches and teaches simple adjustments that yield big results. My son leaves his lessons encouraged by the progress made and confident in his tools for success on the field." - Janel M.

"We have had a great experience working with Coach Joe. He has worked with both of my sons (12U and HS). He was able to break down their hitting mechanics and provide valuable feedback and drills to help them make more consistent contact for more power. It has been a pleasure working with him over the past 2 seasons and the boys enjoy his coaching style and communication. I would highly recommend using coach Joe if you are looking to make that next incremental improvement to your game." - Sam and Kim C.

"From the moment you meet Joe you can tell he's all baseball. His presence commands respect from those he coaches but at the same time is kind and approachable. He is able to cater his coaching methods to the style with which your player learns best and is very focused on appropriate mechanics. Without a doubt there has been improvement in my son's hitting and pitching after having worked with Coach Joe and as an added benefit he invites parents to be involved in his lessons if they want to be. As a Little League coach myself, I have been able to learn from Coach Joe as well and apply some of his methods at my practices. I highly recommend Coach Joe for any aspiring ball player!" - Erick B.

"Joe has been my daughter Ava’s coach for 5 years now. He has been instrumental in helping her grow her skills in the outfield and perfect her throwing. Ava knows that no matter the game situation, no one will hit her balls she hasn’t seen and been challenged to field from Coach Joe. He is kind, honest, and straightforward, but doesn’t let her get away with being lazy or sloppy. He has been a very good fit for us and Ava’s defensive coach from club ball to varsity HS ball." - Kristin J.

"My son was a good left-handed pitcher, but he just struggled with consistency. I tried many different training avenues and things did get better, but he just wasnt at that “Next Level”. Coach Joe worked with my son for 2 seasons in high school. Coach Joe taught him proper mechanics and the discipline to get him to the next level that he eagerly sought. He was recruited and is now playing college baseball. Thanks for all you did, Coach Joe!"  - Mike L.

"Both my boys, 12 and 14, as well as me, really enjoyed lessons from Coach Joe. My boys have been playing travel baseball since 9u and needed that professional guidance to improve, and Coach Joe delivered. His approach, methods and teaching style are something that kids respond to, especially since he actually played the game at a very high level. We have done hitting and pitching lessons and enjoyed every minute. He works with the kids one on one but also provides you, the parent, with tips and drills that you can continue to follow on your own time and I have learned a lot from him.

The communication, punctuality, and logistics are top-notch with Coach Joe. Every lesson was on time, every moment utilized and nothing wasted.

We always look forward to the next lesson with Coach Joe and I highly recommend him." - Dominik S.

"When my son was in second grade, he for the first time expressed interest in playing spring baseball with the local house league.  Since he had never played before, I was concerned that he might have a rough time, as many of his teammates had been playing for years.  To get him up to speed, I had him start taking lessons with Coach Joe.  Coach Joe was fantastic - he was incredibly patient with my son, yet motivated him to work harder and get better.  Coach Joe was able to break down all of the aspects of the sport so that it was easy for a second-grader to understand, and I immediately saw rapid improvement.  Not only did Coach Joe provide great instruction during his lessons, but he also gave us drills and practice routines to work on while at home.

My son continued to work with Coach Joe throughout the spring, and my son had a great time with his first baseball season.  In fact, he liked it so much that immediately after the season ended he wanted to get ready for next year - I credit that enthusiasm to Coach Joe's instruction.  My son has continued to improve in subsequent seasons and we look forward to continuing to work with Coach Joe."  -  Pete H.

"Coach Joe was a blessing! My two boys love baseball mostly because of their Dad - it was his favorite sport (And a die-hard Cubs fan). He coached and played catch constantly with them since T-ball. So when he passed away when the boys were only 8 and 11 years old - it was hard on all of us but baseball helped. Playing the sport kept Dad alive and both boys wanted so badly to play travel teams as well that year. They started taking lessons from Coach Joe in the winter a few weeks after the funeral and Coach Joe was so awesome. He helped them with their baseball skills and pitching abilities but mostly he was understanding and compassionate during this difficult time and provided a great distraction for them. Joe always asked each of them about their schoolwork and life in general. They always walked away with a smile and learned a lot. Both boys made the travel teams that Spring and continue to play baseball five years later. We have gone to Joe on and off over the years. He is such a professional and I will always be grateful for his kindness and helping to improve two young baseball players as the sport kept us sane and now even in a pandemic - we are blessed to have baseball once again!!"  -  Karen R.

"Coach Joe has been an inspiration and role model to my boys. Not only because he is their trainer, but how he mentors and develops the young athletes. Each player is different and Coach Joe has a gift on how to communicate with the athlete. He explains his instruction in detail and finds an example to help the player understand a certain concept. He is a people person, very understandable with schedules, and has always excelled in his training. Thank you Coach Joe for being part of the boy's life and our family. Keep up the great work."  -  Manny C.
